Why did I abandon this book 5 years ago? Because it’s boring. The main character should be actively pursuing a means to solve her problem, not bobbing around in a sea of uncertainty. She has the life-death cycle to master, she’s got the Wending Way in spades. Why is she laying around feeling sorry for herself and her mother?
Rewrites are fun.
